Triple M theory- Moisturizer Must in Monsoon

Most of us believe that our skin looks more oily after using moisturizer and we avoid moisturizers in humid, moist Monsoons. But, skin expert say moisturizers- a must have irrespective of season, irrespective of your skin type.

Use a light-moisturizing lotion after shower, to retain the skin’s natural moisture, leaving it with a soft, supple and moist look.

Our skin repairs itself naturally at night and moisturizing will aid it. Thus, moisturizers are equally important at night. Regular moisturizing before going to bed will help you look younger.

So, get started and grab a good moisturizer and enjoy rains!

Happy Monsoon!

Cos we thought of caring, when you thought of celebrating!

Holi-the festival of colors, the festival of fun, the festival of victory of good over evil, is arriving. You all must be ready with your pichkaris, balloons & colors!

“Bura na mano Holi hai” makes all of us go crazy enjoying the season & we ignore our skin. And when the festive Hangover is gone, we spend hours & hours treating our skin.

This is season; change your age old dialogue to, “Bura mano Holi hai”. Keep in mind few necessary points & enjoy the season, without torturing our beautiful skin!

Before you step out to play:

  • Go for Organic Colors: Ditch those highly loaded chemical colors this Holi and go for Organic colors. Such colors, made from flowers/traditional ingredients will not damage skin
  •  Apply a good amount of moisturizer with SPF/body oil on your body before playing with colors. This will act as a barrier, not letting chemicals penetrate your skin.
  •  Go for a good head message & oil your hairs properly. This will prevent your hairs from drying & damaging. Going for champi, will help you washing out the colors easily. Don't let your hairs open. Braid it up!
  • Try putting on full clothes, covering up most of your body parts.
  • Drink plenty of liquids to keep yourselves hydrated. This will help you flushing the toxins you inhale/ingest while playing

So, now you are well soaked in colors, all wet, all colorful. Once your are indoor, get started to wash this off at the earliest. After the Hangover is gone:

  • Mix few drops of Lemon juice in a bowl of curd & apply it onto the areas having color. Rub it for few minutes & then go for bath with Luke warm water. Apply sufficient amount of body milk all over.
  • After Holi, wash your hairs with plain water & allow the entire color to move out. Then rinse off with a mild shampoo. Use a nourishing conditioner thereafter.
  • After having shower, go for some hot beverages-coffee, tea & relax yourselves!
  •  Stay hydrated.

Indulge yourselves in full-on masti but be careful to avoid the post-Holi effects!

Enjoy a colorful festive season!

Give it a look. Search for ingredients like Parabens, Sodium Laureth Suplate(SLES)/ Sodium Lauryl Sulphate(SLS). If you find them in the list, then google the words and find out their effect on your skin.
